I've been dabbling off and on in eBay and using Vendio since it was Auction Watch. I'm picking up the pace, started a store, and am finding more items for both auction and a store. But I'm wasting money I think and am dancing between a few options

1) Full Vendio - listing with SMPro & images
2) Full Ebay using Turbo Lister including image storage
3)Turbo Lister with Vendio image host

Any opinions - (stupid question) - Hope I don't incur any wrath - I could experiment until I figure it out but this board is so full of advice I thought I'd try a shortcut.

I'd go with which ever option is most cost effective and easiest to manage for you. The key is to "keep it simple" so you aren't juggling too many tools - that leads to mistakes.

I'm sure the blushing violets (Not!) of vendio will pipe up with a few suggestions...

There are a lot of variables that would affect your choices.

Such as how many listings you run? How much photo space you need? Do you need to schedule your listings?

Some of those options cost much more through Ebay.

I use a website for hosting photos on my main ID as Vendio was too expensive. I'm still planning on using Vendio for my second ID because I do need the option to schedule my listings.

Do you usually use only 1 photo for your listings? Is the eBay hosted photo quality adequate for your needs? Do you launch listings immediately and have no need for scheduling?

If you answered yes to all of the above, I would stay with eBay's free tools. If you answered no to some of them, consider Vendio and weigh the benefits against the cost.

I have a friend who dropped Vendio last month hoping to save money. She tried listing with ebay only to find the fees added up very quickly. I personally don't care for the quality of ebay's photos and one extra photo per listing cost more than it does to list with Vending. Add later launch time at another dime per listing and you are already up to an extra quarter per listing with ebay. Add a template on ebay and you just spent another dime or more.
It totally depends on what when and how you list but for my money Vendio is a better deal.
I do relist without Vendio if it's a big ticket item - pay the dime launch time and avoid the Vendio FVF.
