Well this is some kind of weird!! A buyer from the state of Georgia bought an item. I cannot send a regular invoice with US Priority shipping, it is showing ONLY international shipping options.
Her address clearly shows it is Georgia,USA
GA 31794
United States

I know there is Georgia ,formally part of the Soviet Union BUT the state of Georgia is STILL here in the USA.

I am not sending it international from NC to Ga. The state of Ga has not seceded again have they????

Gracious what a dumb error with eBay , the address even has United States and the zip code on it!

Georgia please come back! I love the Braves! and shopping in Atlanta and the underground city shopping. I do not want to get a visa to go to a ball game,
Perhaps I can just sneak across the border after dark.
This is the oddest error yet! GA has now gone international.

Does this mean I'll have to carry my passport everytime I have a layover in Atlanta?

This has NOTHING to do with USPS!!!

They do not setup invoicing through eBay. When trying to send the invoice I can only use the international options.
I hit the standard flat rate shipping and entered the amount and put in the note section of the eBay invoice that it would be sent USPS Priority.

The state I have noticed go missing from time to time is New Mexico. When I was a corporate cube dweller I took a package addressed to New Mexico to the mail room to be weighed and postage added. The young man in charge told me he could not calculate foreign postage. When I told him New Mexico was in the US he said with all seriousness, "Maybe but the post office considers it foreign."

When I was growing up in Texas it bugged me that a lot of grown ups called New Mexico "Mexico". When I insisted that "Mexico" was another country and "New" Mexico was a state I was told that the country was properly called "Old" Mexico!

That is plain weird deur1, maybe you should send for the person's information at ebay to maybe confirm their where abouts. Send the buyer a personal invoice afterwards with explanation as to why and send the ebay invoice with correct USA amount in the international slot also send yourself copy so you can see what it looks like. Notify ebay what good that would do. At least that is what I might do.

If Georgia has succeded let us all know, I saw a report last week about Georgia and all the Mexico Latinos illegal and legal coming there maybe they have decided to take matters into their own hands become another country and close their borders. LOL kidding of course.

Photo I have lived in Texas all my life and I have never hear that about Old Mexico or about New Mexico either. Only thing that stands out is that New Mexico citizens call themselves New Mexicans which I find kinda weird only because of the word mexican. I know that the now appropriate word for people from Mexico not to be mexican as they detest being called that is Latino or chicano LOL should we not now call New Mexicans New Latinos? another joke.

Classic - the war ended in 1864.

I did not realize that some of the "us northerners" that were in the USA army during that period was still surviving and bragging about marching through and plundering Georgia.
Almost everyone knows and realizes this great country is a better place because of settling the issue of slavery. Also, MOST realize that for the past 142 years the states involved in that war are ALL part of the UNITED States of America.

Thanks Toasted , the address on the email from eBay about winning bid said plainly -Tifton, GA 31794 United States

When I tried to invoice it shows it is as an international sale -YEP quite a glitch. The buyer does live in the state of GA . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I was born in Georgia. Does that make me an illegal alien? Do I need a green card to sell on ebay??
