I've been given a large container of effects from the estate of a Marine veteran. Looking at his handbooks, it appears he served in WWII and the Korean War. I don't know if he was a career Marine.

I need help identifying the various items--holster, buttons, uniforms, patches galore, etc.

I'm a Army veteran but spent alot of time attached to Marine units during my time in service. I also collect WW2 items so bring on the pictures.

Mike: I'm running out to do a few errands. When back, I'll post a photo of the uniform. More to come!

Tonimar: Thanks so much for the link! I've bookmarked it. Lordy, I was going to ask just a few dollars for some of the stuff I've got; now I know better.

JACK! HONEY! As you were!

Thanks for the offer. I got slowed down today, but tomorrow I'll post pictures, first of the uniform, and then of a whole little pile of patches I don't "get." Thank you for offering to help. And welcome back.
