These three items were my grandmothers. Right now, we're going through the things my mother has to ID them. I know that where there is a bracelet, there has to be a necklace and earrings somewhere since my grandmother never wore just a bracelet. Any way. . .

1. This is marked Crown Trifari. I was wondering if it could possibly be Alfred Philippe or one of the other famous CT designers. It has great fruit salad stones and wonderful green tinted AB stones.

2. This is marked Trifari and is my favorite. However, it is missing a stone. Does anyone know where I can go (what type of store) to get a replacement stone? I don't want to buy a lot of rhinestones on eBay just for one stone. It's a beautiful emerald green. AND, how do I measure the stone?

3. This one is marked Weiss. Any ideas as to the line or time period?

I just about went crazy for some of the antique pieces! Lots of deco - fur clips with real diamonds, etc. There is also a brooch that is blue Guilloche (sp?) enamel. The top part of it where the pin is is a small lipstick tube and from that dangles a compact. Tons of the siam jewelry, and danish jewelry, too. My mother has it stored. I'd be wearing it!!

We have a Michaels and a Pat Catans. Guess I'll start there. I probably wouldn't wear the Trifari since the stones are glued in. The Weiss, however, has prong set stones. I wouldn't want to lost anymore stones.

I don't think you would be able to get this type of stone at Michaels but I could be wrong. I think what you can get there now is plastic.
Cheryl, I have tons (OK only pounds) of stones and I'll be happy to send you some if you can get me the size.
If by chance I don't have the right color or size - I can get you the address of someone who will replace it for you for $1.00 per stone(plus shipping I guess). He will have the right stone.
They are all lovely and the top one could be Alfred Philippe - it's pretty enough.
Are you going to sell any of it?

actually Michaels has some higher end stones like Swarovski. I suggested Michaels because even if they don't have a green stone like she's looking for - they might have one (even plastic) that will give her the MM size she's looking for to order the "right" stone.

I measured the length of the stone that is missing: 3/8" (.375) 9.525 mm. It's emerald green like in the photo here. Let me know if you have one and I'll gladly pay you for it.

Edited to add: At this time I'm not selling these. We're still looking for the necklaces and earrings that I know my grandmother would have had. I'm hoping they didn't get given to someone they should not have (an in-law). All the jewelry was supposed to go to my mother, but there is a lot of it missing.

I found one - it's missing most of it's foil but I have more somewhere and will keep looking. This one will do in a pinch.
No charge.
How do I get it to you?

PJBell - thanks for the site - it's a great one to have just in case. You're not the book lady are you????
