This has to be one of the worst composed auctions I've ever seen. Even with the title, I still find it difficult to inentify what I'm seeing in the photo. He has one blurry picture, hosted by Ebays crappy hosting service which makes it worse. And then, there is that very thorough technical description which is designed to inspire confidence in a prospective bidder. I would suggest he list it as "parts only", lower the opening bid to a penny, and lower his shipping to 5 bucks. He might find some sucker who'll buy it and he can get it out of the house before the EPA finds out and sends a Haz Mat team knocking on his front door.

What I don't understand is... what is the point of putting items in an autoclave if you are going to lay them out on the floor to photograph them or does he think that Autoclave is a brand like the person that listed California Prop 65 as the manufacturer of the crystal pitcher they were trying to sell?

I have sold several high end used microscopes in the past, and have had several potential bidders ask me specific questions about the type of use they had before. Many are skeptical about used lab or diagnostic equipment because of possible contamination by viral, bacterial or toxic chemical agents.

Contaminated microscope. Hmm. Guess they didn't want athletes foot on their eye ball's. Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. - Albert Einstein
