Here we go again another 2 days or revising ebay store auctions one at a time! I have no idea WHEN this happened but some of my ebay store auctions have changed to

"Will arrange for local pickup only (no shipping)."

and some of them say US shipping only.

I always list as ships Worldwide shipping.

Most of the auctions I am revising are running in groups and have been in my ebay store for quite a while (some 1-2 years)and I was wondering why they haven't been selling.
The odd thing is some of them have had previous sales even ones that say Will arrange for local pickup only (no shipping).
I know it wasn't my fault I didn't list them with that option. All my templets are set on worldwide shipping.

If they have already had sales you have to shut down the auction and relist and revise.
Another odd thing is some of the ones that are messed up I have several sizes. Some say "Will arrange for local pickup only (no shipping), some say Worldwide Shipping and some say US shipping only!

I have no idea when this happened by now I know why some of my costumes are still sitting there. So far I have had to revise about 50.
The only way I know how to find out what ones give what shipping option is to click on each one one at a time and revising them one at a time. All 1874 of them. Another full 2 days shot to.......

I have noticed an unusual amount of auctions showing as Pickup only and wondered what the seller was thinking. Know we know I guess.

On the good side, it seems stuff is back to indexing quickly again and my auctions searches seem to finally be stable.

Is anyone else having this problem? Have you checked your ebay store listing that have been sitting there for quite a while and you wonder why they haven't sold ????
I still have 4 pages of my ebay store that are stuck on "Will arrange for local pickup only (no shipping). I have been editing for 2 days to fix 63 pages of messed up auctions. I still have 4 more pages to go. All of those are going back and forth between "Ships to United States Only" and "Will arrange for local pickup only (no shipping)". I ship WORLDWIDE I never listed these to say anything else! I'm not touching them they are changing on there own.

I don't list on Vendio, but I have noticed an oddity that sometimes produces an undesirable result: If I change carrier in shipping and then scroll down using the wheel on my mouse, the option will scroll down along with the page ending up as something I didn't intend at all. Ie. I may change from US postal service priority mail to media mail, but end up with Express Mail. Similarly, if I revise an auction in eBay itself, and use item specifics, and use the mouse wheel, I may end up with "wood" instead of "textile" if I'm not careful. Don't know if that would apply to you, but thought it was worth mentioning as a general caution!

These are ebay store listings not vendio store. When you edit even in bulk changing your ship's to is not one of the options or I could of edited all of my auctions at one time. They all have to be done one at a time. I can see in the Description (revised) there are days and times of revisions that I never even touched the auctions. It's when ebay does all of there new and improved updates that messes with all of the auctions.

I had this problem too and if you will check your items (click on the "revised" link on the auction page), you will probably see that a bulk revision created the change. In my case, I was moving items from one ebay store category to another and in the process, inadvertently changed the "ships to" information. My items were mostly two years old and most were originally placed in my store May 2004-October 2004. I think that the SYI form they were listed with was outdated and the data was forced into the new listing format when I did the bulk revision. My sister had a similar problem. I think it was caused because we both were creating new listings from templates we had saved in "Pending" - it turns out that those templates did not update to reflect changes Vendio had made to the SYI form. I revise them when I have a chance and added a FAQ to my "Ask Seller A Question" that states that I ship worldwide.

Just thought I'd add when I work on these, I sort my "ACtive" items in ebay (Using Sales Manager)by oldest first. That keeps the corrupted items together so once you find one with a problem, there are probably others listed the same date with the same problem. In fact, there may be others from the same date that have not been revised and so don't show the problem but will whenever they get revised so you might as well change those too.

Neglus,
Is there anyway that you know of to edit "ships to" in bulk. I have traced it down to when most of these auctions went bad by looking under revisions on each of them and it ends up being July 12th. That is when you and I talked before on here about store search not working correctly. Whatever they did then to mess up our store search effected my auctions when I revised them so show in the store search. I purchased the Sales Manager after you suggested it back then but I don't see a option to revise "ships to".
Thank you,
Valorie

valo - I never found a way to do this in bulk. Are you a Vendio user? Anyone else? Maybe we could get VENDIO to help?

Yes I do my listing through vendio. Customer Service finally responded and they are working on it (I hope they are) Here's the link to that vendio thread;
