Anyone know if you are allowed to post the Square Trade Seal on other sites besides Ebay?

I sent them an email, but have not heard from them as yet.

Plan on canceling them at end of contract if I can't.

Just thought it may inspire some confidence for buyers who are used to seeing it on Ebay.

:0) LOL Acutally, when I was picking a user name I knew I wanted penguin, but it was taken so while I was sitting there thinking about how to change it, that particular song came on the radio and I thought - ice ice penguin!

Yes, I read that overview, but when I went nosing around to find out the info about using it anywhere else but Ebay, all I could find was info about posting on Ebay and nothing else.

FYI - Just thought for anybody who was interested the official answer is no.

Dear Gerri,

The seal posting is only allowed on your Ebay listing. We can not allow
you to have the seal posting on any other sites. Thank You.

Sincerely,

Sean

Ebay must have bought Square Trade and they are now pulling the strings from behind the curtain.

Well, if they did they are going to lose even more revenue.

I will have bare bones listings by December and will NOT be renewing with Square Trade.

You can! I did it myself! Just request a script of your Seal sent to you email address.

However, the purchase protection may not apply outside eBay. It is still a good place for dispute.

That's exactly what I did.

I asked if I could use it off Ebay and requested the code to put in my listings and that was their response.

Where did you request it from on the site and how long ago?

They used to send the code automatically by email. By now, you can copy from your ebay auction page by reading the html code. Very easy!
