First 20 cent listing days and now a 50% off day within two weeks of each other.
This is a first isn't it?
Trying to boost their core??
Well, gives me another day to work on other things while they flood the place with listings again.

Yes, it is.
Sad thing is I was actually going to list some lots of inventory I was paring down, but I guess they'll have to wait until next week.
I always avoid these "sale" listings like the plague.

It looks like these promotions are becoming a monthly occurance.
I don't mind them, but they usually cause a couple weeks of slow sales afterwards, due to buyers being tapped out on purchases for the week of those promotions.

I have an idea for them to stager the listing promotions according to East Coast time Central time and West Coast time that way everyone in the US won't be listing all at one time and give each time zone a chance to list and maybe have better follow through with the sells since the buyers would be from all over just the listings would be promoted by time zone thus not as many widgets put on all at one time. Hope you get the idea I am going for. OOPS I forgot Mountain time can't forget them.... Just a thought. But you know Mrs irked says if I had a brain or a thought I would take it out and play with it.

Sorry Ebay,
Going to pass on this one as well.
Just cannot support fee hikes like this. 50% sale. 50 % of an item listed at $100.00. $2.40 - 50% = $1.20 but capped at $.50. A fee hike of $.30 from your last fee hike to $.20.
Wonder how many of the sheep will follow this one?
Steve,
Post the listing figures if you would please.
