As I am sticking to confirmed addresses only with Paypal, a german bidder would like to bid on one of my items. what form of payment would be best from that country?
Does anyone ask for cash anymore? I still see it on some sellers listing info.
TIA
Mama

Mama,

I still take cash from any one that wants to send it...

Another method that I have my German bidders use is Auctionchex

https://auctionchex.com

It lets them send AuctionChex payment in a variety of methods (Paypal, checks in EUROS, bank transfers, etc...) which AuctionChex converts to US dollars, and then sends you a check in US dollars (drawn on a New York branch of Citibank). It's been my best solution for international payments since Bidpay stopped sending money orders.

I've taken cash from international bidders but cash needs to be sent registered and that take a while to get to you.
I still prefer Western Union Wire transfer but
Ebay doesn't allow you to listed it as a payment option so I guess you could get in trouble for asking for it??

My German buyers usually pay by bank transfer (BIC + IBAN) direct into our Euro account (which is free of fees for both parties) or MoneyBookers. Bank transfer usually takes one business day while MoneyBookers may be longer if they have not previously registered with them.
