Coming out of lurking mode....

Anyone have some suggestions or examples for writing great copy without sounding like a lot of hype?

Though such a technique wouldn't translate well for what I sell, I love the writing done at this site:
www.sciplus.com

Does anyone know of other examples of great copy writing? Good books on the subject perhaps?

Check out : www.elance.com

You can actually get someone to do that for you.

With your ID, that sounds like a question that most of us should be asking you.

Wish I could help, but that's not my forte.

Pick up an object. Hold it in your hand. Describe it to a good friend. The goal is to do so in such a way that makes him or her smile.

Sometimes having a drink or two first helps.
