I have been getting very strange PayPal email notices. They do not include any information, like address, description of what they paid, etc
"You've Got Cash!Dear xxxxxx,
This email confirms that you have received a payment for $xxxx USD from xxxxxxx ([email protected])."
That is all it says besides and ID#
Is this something new?? Before it detailed the amount, postage and insurance. I had to log into my PayPal account to get the info.
Here is another thing, one of the buyers is identified as UNREGISTERED. What is an unregistered buyer? Their address is confirmed. Am I missing something here.

It's interesting...if they're not spoofs. Does the subject matter include, "Dear(insert your name)? If your name isn't in the e-mail it's just another variation on a spoof.

They're not spoofs, because the money is in my account. My name does appear after "Dear xxxx"
I had 2 of them tonight. Both with the same noninformation.

I had the same thing happen several months ago...all apparently was fine but never understood why some notices were so different from others...

I have found that before and found a couple of different reasons. 1.) If they paid with a credit card instead of paypal account to paypal account. 2.) If it is an unregistered user sometimes this happens to get your attention. 3.) Sometimes I have found international payments (when we were accepting them) have come up a bit strange before.
