Had a buyer purchase 3 items...now on my auctions they get an automatic invoice notification. These were bought on 2/28, I waited another two weeks, no payment, so I sent an invoice again personally. This is the reply from buyer.
********************************************
I WILL NOT BE PAYING YOU FOR THESE ITEMS! I REQUESTED 5 TIMES THAT YOU SEND ME A TOTAL AND YOU NEVER DID! THESE AUCTIONS ENDED 20 DAYS AGO...THIS IS RIDICULOUS THAT YOU WOULD INVOICE ME NOW...I WILL NOT PAY FOR THEM AND IF YOU TRY TO GIVE ME A NON PAY I WILL REPORT IT TO EBAY AS YOU BEING A NON SELLER!!! AGAIN I EMAILED YOU FIVE TIMES THROUGH THE EBAY SYSTEM SO I CAN SHOW EBAY THAT I DID CONTACT YOU FIVE TIMES AND YOU NEVER ONCE RESPONDED TILL NOW!!!!! ITS CRAZY AND I WILL NOT PAY FOR THEM!!!
*********************************************
So, I said to myself..ok...I missed some messages...wrong...NOTHING in the EBAY MESSAGES from this buyer. Then I look at her feedback...PRIVATE...also note 46...YES 46 BID RETRACTIONS....so I send her this response;

I would like to inform you that I just reviewed MY MESSAGES.....ZERO(0) messages from you were found. So if you DO have these...please forward them to me.

2nd...the auction ended on the 28th of Feb...I usually give a buyer two weeks before I RESEND an invoice.

3rd...my auctions are set up so that you are invoiced AUTOMATICALLY. And by you checking out, the invoice would total your purchases...even if it was three items.

4th...as for REPORTING me...sorry to say...but I think you would lose that request with ebay. FACTS...YOU PURCHASED the items, YOU agreed to pay for the items....I have them here, WAITING payment....

5th....NOW that I researched YOUR FEEDBACK and BID RETRACTIONS.....YES I WILL FOLLOW THROUGH WITH NON-PAYMENT FORM...

Here is her reply:
********************************************
FIRST of all I have 100% feedback... LOOK at AT YOURS!!!!!

SECOND I requested an invoice through EBAY 5 times those messages are NOT saved they are invoice requests!!! YOU need to check YOUR email or messages....

It did not have a total for shipping on the EBAY invoice that is why I had to email you 5 times for shipping amount EBAY did not include a SHIPPING AMOUNT...that was why I requested the total from you 5 TIMES!!!!

EBAY says that the seller should contact me within 3 days which you took TWENTY.....you are very unprofessional and I would NEVER purchase anything from you ever again ! I dont even want these item in my home...but I will pay for it and you can send it to me and I will put it in the trash because I wouldnt want my child touching anything from a creep like YOU!!!!!
********************************************

This is a $6 (six) purchase...is there a FULL MOON out there tonight or what???

Do you think I should blemish that 100% feedback rating of hers???

I would have just responded via both email and ebay message system:

"I sent several invoices. You might want to check your email filters. Auction Checkout has full payment info"

Also, I'd hold off giving feedback.

Is it possible that your automatic invoicing included the three items but didn't have the combined shipping? I ask because this has happened to me a couple of times when I didn't realize the buyer had won more than one item.

But none of her statements make much sense to me. Surely those requests would have been in My eBay under messages.

Edited to add that she should be turned in anyway for all those bid retractions. That's horrendous!

Yawn. Don't get into email peeing contests. You won't argue them into agreeing with you through your sheer reasonableness and force of personality.

Or, put another way, never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.

fluff..that was great....as I look out the back window at all this rain...making my backyard a PERFECT MUDDY pig area...

I was very surprised at those bid retractions and "NO" negative feedbacks...plus...what is the limit eBay allows on those retractions, seems excessive.

oh...filed the unpaid item dispute...they paid immediately(pending echeck)...hmm...guess I BETTER put a delivery confirmation on this one!...and wrap it in steel!

...may send a free calculator & calendar...so they can show me how TWENTY DAYS goes by from 2/28/07 to today..3/15/07

I think another pi$$ing email is in order. Tell them You have been with ebay long enough to know if an email is sent through Ebay IT WILL be in the My messages section of My Ebay and you GOT zip from her. Tell her to keep her money that a neg from her won't hurt you as much as a neg from you. And the fact that her feedback is Private tells more about her than she will ever know.

LOL your call.

I really detest this kind of person. Oh maybe she didn't know to put checks?? in her check out to get all items to combine. Me--I send seperate invoice making sure it is combined right and state so in that invoice to them so they know it is the final and correct invoice. Just a thought. I also never wait more than a the End of the 3 days to renotify buyers, with kind message I have not heard from them to confirm their buy. Another thought not that I have many LOL.

It depends on how deeply you need to vent - most efficient is to move on and not spend time on this low dollar amount. Sometimes, we reach our limit and have to let it out. The decision is yours.

I would leave a neg. They will leave you one. Who cares... as a seller, you are going to get an occasional neg... it happens. It doesn't hurt. However, that first neg hurts... You feel like crap... she deserves to feel like crap. File for fee refund. Report for Non-payment (black mark), and leave that NEG.

File for fee refund. Report for Non-payment (black mark), and leave that NEG.
