I list everything in Market place. The auction doesn't do much anymore.

I too list only in Marketplace, and only books, so far. 10 sales in the last 7 days; they just keep trickling in. Never have used Auction in Amazon.

No auction, just marketplace...over 3,000 items and NO LISTING fees. Yes, their commission is about 15%. But remember...instant payment...NO paypal fees and on a large percentag of items you are collecting the OVERPRICE shipping credit. I have items on there weighing only a few ounces and Amazon charges the buyer for a weight of 2-3 pounds. But like any site...there will always be pros and cons. I just really like the ability to just punch in a UPC number of a brand new toy or electronic and NOT have to mess with description or photos.

Amzn is not sending shipping info in the email so we have to go to our account to look up the shipping addr,a pain.
BTW,I have shipped several books overseas, where do I find intl m-bag rates now on USPS site??
The new rate??
Amzn is charging a good fee,15% is a lot, plus the diff between what they charge the customer for shipping and what they give us ,they keep that.

Right! I detest the new method for us sellers on Amazon. They tell us HOW the book is to be shipped, but not where to, and we have extra work to go into our Amazon account, find the new sale, and deal with it there. I always e-mail the buyers to thank them for their purchase etc. etc. Used to just hit "reply" and do that. Now it takes more time.

I haven't looked yet to see if other Amazon sellers are complaining, but I'll bet they are.
