Listed some tickets and stated that, in addition to PayPal and money order, cash (when meeting to exchange payment/tickets) was also OK. I've done this before with other tickets with no problem but accept the fact that I can't state "cash" as a payment option. What I'm po'd about is I went through Vendio and edited the listing (to omit any mention of cash)...but when I re-listed, got an error message that that item number was no longer available and not in the data base. So...had to start from scratch and create a new listing. Is this the SOP when eBay deletes a listing? Is there an easier way to correct it?

I think if you mark the item for relist through Vendio, then cancel it, preventing it from launching, then go to pending listings, where it should show as an unscheduled listing, edit it and THEN launch - it should launch as a new listing, not as a relist.

Thanks, Pixie...not planning on mentioning cash again but if a similiar thing happens again, will try your suggestion...

I've been mentioning cash as a payment option (required for pickups) for at least a couple of years. No problems.

I've also mentioned cash before in auctions but always said when meeting to exchange purchase/payment. Never been a problem before but guess it is now. In the future, I'll be saying only COD with personal meeting/delivery to eliminate any problems.
