Is anyone here using eBay's Affiliate Program now they've improved the cash payouts?

Would you mind posting a link to your website? I know you can't solicit people to click on your eBay link but surely you can tell me if I ask, right?

I'm developing a non-storefront Web page for one of my IDs and I thought "Wouldn't it be cool if I could have my current ending-soon listings dynamically displayed on the page?" I don't have the programming skills to do that and I'd rather not hire someone through Elance (being in the throes of another Elance project at the moment).

Well, it turns out that eBay has already done the work for me. Check this out:

Way cool.

How many Ebay sellers are willing to add their real time Ebay listing on their sites?
They are selling their store items on Ebay for less ! often a lot le$$.
(I have seen many sellers who beg their bidders to come to their site to puchase the items direct and the bidders just wont do it,it may mean they could end up paying more on Ebay.I know a seller who put his better items in his Ebay store and said these items would never be auctioned off,a few months later,he caved in and sell them auction style).

Why not put your eBay sales on your site?

A sale is a sale is a sale.

What does a few bucks more or less either way matter?

For me, I don't plan on selling anything on the website. That's not the purpose. I have been saying for years that putting up a web store is going to be a waste of time and effort for most people because you simply can't get the traffic you need.

Consider. You might pay 20 cents a click through AdWords, and if you're lucky, you might convert clicks to sales at 10:1.

On the other hand, I can list an auction for 20 cents. Period. I don't have to pay 20 cents for every person who looks at it.

In many ways, eBay is the best value for your marketing dollar that you will probably ever see. Don't get all hung up on you-don't-like-eBay this, you-don't-like-eBay that, eBay bidders won't pay much, yadda yadda yadda. Do the numbers.

I don't mind doing the 99 cent auction except I get tired of answering e-mails of why don't you ship for $1.50 you are ripping people off! E-Bays star rating thing has seem to bring this on. I have charged the same shipping for two years. So far I have a five star rating but I'm sure at Christmas I'll be lucky to have a half star rating.

You answer those? I ignore 'em all unless I'm in a particularly snarky mood that day, in which case I tell 'em that since their time is worth nothing, their employer will expect them to work for free here on out.

Incoherent replies with lots of #$%^! and f--- yous always make me smile.

I'm using it on my page. My web page is actually just an easier way to get to my eBay store by redirecting. The link you have to remember through eBay is too long. So, since they've got time before being redirected, I added the items using eBay's kit. I have to redesign it to show more items, but for now it's okay.

You're right, Fluffy! When I first came upon this I thought it was really cool.
