Well, I never got the Powerseller coffee cup that some received but today's mail did deliver a notebook and pen from eBay.

Quick check of the Store Boards and I see that eBay is indeed sending little gifts to those who post on the board. Some are getting Mouse pads.

Interesting.

Got an EBAY STORES (with a little red door) CAP friday. I guess because a few years back I ordered a cap from them...??? Personally...I would rather see a HEAVILY REDUCED listing fee day...I won't even get 50¢ for this hat.

Wow, I got an invoice that was 20% higher than usual....

Thanks to that little cockfight with google, I've been doing more fixed price then usual.

They have been giving things away for the past couple of weeks. Hats, mousepads and the book/pen. I figure these are leftovers from the Boston meeting.

Secretly I coveted the mousepad not the book and pen.

However, I am always looking for a scratch pad around the computer and this will come in handy.

I have been in Oregon with sibs celebrating Mom's 80th bday. It is a glorious day today on the Coast. I am going home on Thursday - hope to find an ebay SOMETHING or other waiting for me (but I won't hold my breath).

It's for posting on eBay's stores board.

Cheryl, I have a sorry, fruitless, eBay store . I did not know they have a board. I guess I should trot over and post how worthless my eBay store is. It is only a mini warehouse to put things until put them where they may be seen.

"My eBay store is on the wrong side of the railroad tracks, never to be viewed or seen. It is not available in search, non of the goods in my store can be found unless a lost patron stumbles across it accidently. "

Would this get me one of those "to die for" gifts?

It might be worth your while to pay the board a visit. If nothing else, you'll be kept up to date about what eBay plans for stores. Pinks (eBay moderators) visit often. It's how I knew when markdown manager was fixed.

I do not know squat about markdown , never used it or looked into it. A representative from eBay called and was explaining it and heralding its worth. I told him to just email, but I did not look into it when he emailed the details.

Markdown Manager allows you to put categories or individual items on sale in your store for a time period that you specify. Once that time period is up, the sale is over and the price goes back to where it was. The sale is a percentage. I use it all the time. It's great to move out old merchandise.
