It looks like there's a Pilot Knob in almost every state. Does anyone recognize this one? The view was taken about 100 years ago. It resembles the one in NC - can anyone verify this? Thanks in advance!

Hi Pixia, Pilot Knob is in North Carolina. Acutally the town is Pilot Mountain and is the home of Andy Griffin. Its on route 52 North of Winston Salem. Chuck

That sure doesn't look like any part of North Carolina that I've seen.
I'm with neglus on this one.
Notice the mountain is above tree line. Nothing in the mountains of NC are above tree line as far as I know.
