Wonder if some knowledgeable glass folks could check out my auction to see if they can identify the maker or design of this glass bowl. I think it's REALLY pretty but my very general title isn't getting much interest. If I knew the design or maker, more people might check it out. The auction number is: 220150984729...sorry I don't know how to do links. Thanks for any help.

WOW, it is really pretty but I'm not a glass person. I will watch to see who answers and what the pattern might be.

Thanks, pmelcher! I do love old glass but it's just SO difficult to "market" without knowing maker or pattern. Reference books I've consulted organize items by either pattern or maker...and knowing neither makes research practically impossible! Hopefully, some wise person will recognize it and be able to help.

The pattern looks like Garden Pink by Indiana Glass Co. circa 1913. This is Early American Pattern Glass (should be put in this Ebay category).

Wow, what a perfect name for the pattern and yes, it will do better in the EAPG category.

Thanks so much everyone...You guys are AWESOME! I did shut down the auction and will relist using the information you provided...Appreciate it so much! Don't know if it will actually sell this time around but hopefully, since I'll be able to describe it more accurately, it will at least get some more "lookers".

By the way, Dorrie is extremely knowledgeable, and checks the eBay pottery and glass board often.
I've suggested it before. Log onto the board and ask your questions there. You're likely to get a quicker response.

I've tried a couple of the eBay boards in the past but found the people there to be pretty "cliquish" and not much help. I've found people here to be MUCH more helpful. Maybe there has been some "new blood" on the eBay boards so may check them out again. Thanks for the suggestion...and thanks again, Dorrie!

I mentioned before that we were trying to identify a pottery planter. I signed up for the pottery board that required a membership and someone suggested the name of an obscure defunct pottery. Sold it to the grandson of the potter who is starting a collection.
