Thanks to a potential buyer bringing it to my attention, I mysteriously have Pick Up Only showing in my listings in the shipping and handling box. The gremlins must have done it. I have no idea how it got there or how to get it out of there.

I use vendio to create my listings. I don't use any of the shipping related boxes in any way, but rather put my flat shipping cost for each listing in the auction description.

I've looked at my global preferences and don't see anything out of the ordinary, as a matter of fact, I don't even see where there would be a place to indicate pick up only if I wanted to.

You people are always a wealth of info. I'd appreciate any help you could give. Thanks.

Happened to me 2 years ago. It was a Vendio quirk and I still don't know what happened. I was using older profiles that used to specify I ship worldwide, suddenly they said either Pick Up only, or Ship to US only. I never had that set as my preference in Vendio. Still a mystery that caused me a huge loss. Sorry to hear it's happened to you.

To fix it, you need to go in and revise each listing- it can't be done in bulk. Also, you should check under eBay site specifics in your Vendio accounts and see that the Ship To and shipping charges are correct. If you use saved profiles to list, you have to go in and check/edit shipping preferences in each profile.

Thanks. I looked at the Vendio services posts and looks like I'm not alone. If as they say, it's because of a change at ebay a few days ago then I'm probably going to have more company with the same problem.
Looks like I'll have to use those dreaded boxes in shipping section after all if I'm reading the posts correctly. I've been just spelling out my shipping charge in the description of the auction. All those boxes had me scratching my head. Thanks so much for your help.

I have just 30 auctions going now - went through and checked each one and 6 had the "pick up only" line included. I couldn't figure out how to change that, so just added a paragraph stating that the line was an eBay glitch. The strange thing is that after I put that revision through, the "pick up only" line vanished from the auction...I sure don't understand it. Isn't eBay supposed to be making life easier for us instead of harder? HA. I just wasted 45 minutes that I could have used to list new items.

I went through and added the note to ignore the pick up instruction to my auctions too and low and behold sometime over night the pick up words disappeared from the shipping box. Time I would have preferred to use in other ways.

Now I'm happy that things are back to looking like I thought they should and I can handle looking like an idiot with the buyers who might have read it and wondered if this seller knows what the heck she's doing ... but I don't get what the whole Vendio explanation for this on the Vendio services post was about.

Did ebay make a change or didn't they? Do I have to use the select a shipper boxes and the ebay check out or don't I? Something just doesn't feel right here.

I wonder if the act of revising fixed the problem?

I doubt it. I attempted to revise one item. However since I do not use ebay shipping functions, nor do I wish to use them, there was nothing I could do. And, I stopped. Nothing revised. This morning, everything reverted back.
