I glanced at my bedroom clock... 'thought' I was waking up at 3:30 am... fumbled together my first cup of coffee, and sat down here... my computer is telling me it's only 2:30 am.

Aaaaargh. I posted this two weeks ago and then forgot, so I have several auctions ending tomorrow night, too early. Ah well.

yep... i sleep approx. 9pm to 3am (when my eyes pop open, not to close again till evening) ... it's just my ol' 50=something year old body clock. didn't used to be like that...
further report for today, we hadn't changed our kitchen clock and i started making dinner an hour early ... protest ensued ... held off for a short while to stoke up the heat LOL

Those cups of coffee might have something to do with your nifty fifties sleep schedule. We lose our ability to metabolize caffeine in middle age. One guy I know, used to knocking back 6 Mountain Dews a day, ended up at Stanford Hospital convinced he was having a coronary. Nope: caffeine-fueled panic attack.

I got to my 8:00 AM dentist appointment today 5 minutes ahead of schedule. The receptionist was on the phone: "Are you on your way in? We wondered if you incorrectly adjusted your clock"? I checked in and she told me she'd let the dentist know I was there. No surprise, I was seen by his senior partner who explained my dentist was running late today. I saw my dentist scurrying in as I was backing out of the parking lot. Some folks fell forward instead of back.
