I think we all need to be wary of the new buyers out there or the occasional buyer.

These folks expectations are not always real
world.

In my excitement to clean up my auction files I deleted the auction and the picture. Sure enough 11 days after the lady received it, she tells me it was partially broke. I was skeptical but offered her a full refund upon the return of all the items. We hear nothing, yes, no or whatever.

As my partner says it was your fault deleting it before you received feedback. Which it was now I am giving a refund and Remind yourself it is early in the season so be careful and diligent about your business in the holiday season. It really was a cheap lesson.

I agree. Just got an email that the package was empty.

Well, it was insured so here is the form and save the packaging ,etc. Customer refuses as that is not his job. Please send him another one.

Feedback: 0

Sorry to hear of the problem, "leads"...However, if you list with Vendio, you can reinstate both the photos and the auction. I've done this myself in the past and that feature is a lifesaver! Had a lady complain that one earring of a pair was broken. I'd deleted the photo and auction but reinstated both and was able to show her that I'd mentioned the break, highlighted it in red and shown a picture. She was very nice and left me great feedback. Good luck!

Blueeyes,
How do you reinstate a deleted auction or picture. That would really be great to know.

Hi JT...Go to "My services" and click on "Image Hosting". Then, on the left, you'll see the "recycle bin". Click on that and all of your deleted photos will show up. Then, you can restore or "undelete" them. To reinstate auctions, go to your list of closed auctions. At the bottom will be something like "looking for recently archived auctions?" Click on that and your recent archived auctions will appear. Click on the ones you want reinstated. Good luck and glad to help!

At this time of year, I always tell buyers that shipping is slow with holidays, extra mail etc., and exaggerate the amount of time it might take, that way, when they compain, I can refer them back to my message. It seems to be working, I am getting less downgrade stars.

My son bought himself a Nintendo something or other and after using it once, decided he didn't want it. So he put it on Ebay a couple of weeks ago. A zero feedbacker bid it up to a nice price and won, then 3 hours after COA messaged to say "Sorry, found a brand new one for the same price" and never paid. Looking at his bidding history he'd bid on three similar machines, all of which closed within 2 hours of each other. He not only stiffed us, but whoever had at least one of the other machines too.
