At least the unofficial spokesperson was fairly articulate and fairly accurate. Her take on effect of DSR on Best Match is not quite right though and of course the fee change is NOT an increase for everybody (as I pointed out in another thread). She claims there are other places to go (etsy,ecrater) but says she will be back at the end of the week. If those places were truly viable, she wouldn't be back.

ETSY is a handmade online site where everything is fixed price and seller have a store front. Everything other than the vintage and supplies catagory has to be handmade. If more sellers come to ETSY, like the jewelry lady and brings her cliental with her there will be more activity as she will have lots of compatation. Listing fee is 20 cents and the listing lasts 4 months. FVF 3.5%. A very unusual site with lots of bells and whistles to draw sellers to the buyers. It has a forum(discussion board), a pounce where you can see other items, A featured seller, A treasury. An area where it shows new listings. Other areas also. It is a crowded site. Lots of US and International sellers. You can use either PayPal or google checkout and of course money orders or checks. Stop in and take a quick look I think you will be surprised because there is a minimal amount of owner-workers. I think about 20 but I might be wrong about that but not the amount that eBay has.
