I have three prints of paintings. One is of Venezia dated 1957. One has something wrote in pencil on the mat and has a signature, the other one is some place in spain. Should I take these out of the frames to sell them?

The one on the left looks ok. The middle one looks better without the frame. Not sure about the third one, could go either way.

I don't know much about the art catagories, I never post there, I was just trying to figure out where they even go,guess I better figure it out for myself. My bad for asking.

I've never had too much luck with original art on ebay - prints are even worst. Too many fakes. The one signed on the mat may have a chance if it's a listed artist.
If you want to listed them leave them framed and give the winner the option of frame or no frame.
I think you would need to list them in the print category.

Google any authors' names that you can read. Sometimes that gives keywords that buyers are looking for. I agree that art of ANY kind is a very tough sell on eBay, and it's hard to get a good photo of a piece under glass.

I think I will list them at a later date, I'm better off to work on the better selling stuff right now. Thanks for the info.
