I have 3 copies of a book called Intl Accounting Summaries,published 1991,1992,1997.
A Nigerian residing on the East Coast bought the 1997 copy and paid expedited shipping for it.This book weighs over 3 lbs and I shipped in USPS priority fixed rate envelope with green DC slip.
Since I have 3 versions of the same book,I check carefully to make sure I am shipping the correct version-1997.
Now he said I shipped him the 1992 version and he is leaving for Europe soon ,so he needs to have this case resolved before he leaves.
I went back and checked, the 1992 and 1991 versions are still here, but not the 1997 version.
So I emailed him and said if he is not happy with my 1997 version,he may return it for the 1992 version.
He emailed me again and showed me a picture of the 1992 version which looks just like mine.
What should I do,AMZN does have a seller protection program (if I can prove I ship the item and the item is in good condition),should I let AMZN handle this?
When I google his name as it is a long and odd name,it turns out to be Nigerian and I have this awful feeling that things may not work well, every time I have that feeling, there is always trouble, but then what is that saying-hope springs eternal.
Advice please!

Ask the buyer to send a photo of the copyright-data page. I suppose it's possible that you had two 1992 books but misread the last digit of one of them. Could that have happened?

Thanks for your help,I went to AMZN site and the sellers said he probably copied the bookcover from AMZN and tried to take my book back to Nigeria and make copies and sell the copies.
How low can you go?
I will ask him to show me more of the book like the inside page or a 3 dimensional view.
