Well, youse guys (& gals) know SOOOOooo much!

Here's anutter ANTIQUE sterling silver spoon...

Is that CLOVER & THISTLE on the handle?

The backstamp (BTW: is that the correct term?) is a PENNANT with the letter "IH" on it next to the word: "STERLING"

Any & all info is GREATLY APPRECIATED

The spoon was made by Watson. Not part of the pattern lines for regular flatware. Most of the souvenir spoons were not standard patterns.

Ralphie...fresh from the backyard

These are white clover. Red clover has a TIGHTER flower, both have the grouping of three leaves at the same point

I prefer the red clover myself...tastier

Tom...as for the WATSON part....there is NO "I", that is part of the flag....this site might be a big help for you.

http://www.silvercollecting.com/silvermarksW.html

The Watson Co. was established in 1874 in Attleboro, Massachusetts and had showrooms in New York, Chicago and San Francisco. They are known for making sterling souvenir spoons, flatware, hollowware and glass mounted with silver. The Thomae Co was a division of The Watson Co. The top mark is that of a flag with an "H" in the center.

let me know if you need the second tree on the left behind the library identified...more then happy to help...nothing else to do...sales are down...
