When I went to log into Paypal, it said my account was locked:
We regret to inform you that this account has been locked. Please contact our Account Review Department at [email protected].

After panic set in...WTF??
I started to wonder if they had refunded the money from yesterdays sales, so I pulled up a sale in eBay. Clicked to view my transaction details on Paypal and then entered my password.
Now I am in Paypal. I know I was logging into the PP site the first time.
Very strange!

I am having different kind of problem with Paypal.
First it takes a long time to sign in,then I have problem printing shipping label.
I am on AOL,so I launched IE and no problem printing labels with IE.

For the last week or so it has taken a VERY long time for PayPal to log me in. The login screen appears to go to a tracking page (if you look at the status at the bottom of the browser window) before bringing up my account.
And yes, I am absolutely sure it really is PayPal.

it hasn't taken me long to log in but........
I placed an order with a company and then changed my mind - I'd paid with PP.
I went to the company page and checked the "cancel my order" button and also sent the company the email that said "cancel my order"
today I received an email that said "your order has been canceled because you paid from an unconfirmed PP bank account and an unconfirmed PP home address"
Now really. After all these ebay years.
Whatever. I'll take it.

It's been very slow for me as well. I have not had trouble printing labels (not that I've had many) but it's slow to check balances etc.

Update! I received a long email from paypal that started with this:
We apologize but we are unable to respond to inquiries sent to this
e-mail address. Your e-mail was routed to an unmonitored mailbox and as
such will not be reviewed.
Then they sent me how to contact them via email or via the site after log in. Keeping that info.
Obviously some type of glitch and one that was very scary. Makes me want to take Paypal out of all my listings. I do believe that if you did, your search would drop? Or at least sales would.
Someone here does not use Paypal. Stonecold? How does that effect Paypal, which is about 75% of my eBay transactions.

I thought the login issue was due to my computer, it is taking up to 30 seconds to get through the login page.

My thought was, are you 100% sure you were logging into the actual PayPal site and not one of the spoof sites that looks like PayPal?
Make sure the begining of the URL is "https" and not "http".
Other than that, not sure what PayPal is doing. I can state that it always takes PayPal a very long time to log in, I talking about minutes, so that don't seem strange to me.
The locked out part is what has me thinking you may have gone to a spoof site my accident and now that the spammers got your id and password, are taking over.

It was the Paypal site and I use the Paypal security key. The password changes each time you try to access the account. And you have to have the key which will generate a random number.
Turns out it is a glitch and just one of many on Paypal right now.

Are you sure you're not my husband in disguise? You sure sound like him.
In which case I'll tell you what I tell him:
"Honey, what did I just finish saying to you?"
And yes, I am absolutely sure it really is PayPal.
