I have a payment from a customer in Germany that is showing as UNCLAIMED. I go into Transaction detail as instructed through a PayPal reminder email that I had an unclaimed payment and there is no way of claiming it.
I have used paypal for 8 years and this is my first UNCLAIMED payment. Anybody else have this happen? IS this something new? Anybody know how to claim my money. I have to claim my money now these folks at PayPal aka Ebay are getting goofier by the day

While I do not know your exact circumstances, usually "unclaimed" means that the payment was sent to a non -existant or wrong email address. Hope this is helpful.

I have the same "unclaimed" payment from Germany and no way I can see to claim it. I was planning on calling PayPal in the morning.

I called Paypal this morning. They said they have a known problem with this and would manually credit my account for the funds by the end of the day. If it is under $25 the customer service rep on the ohone can issuse the credit. Anything over $25 would require a Supervisor to issue the credit which is why it would take until the end of the day to credit the funds to your account.

I got a second eCheck payment that has been coded Unclaimed. I called Paypal again and they said it is a known bug and they are working to fix it. They need to submit a credit to get the funds in my account. Due to the volume of these they said the credit will take 2-3 days to hit your account. This bug does no affect all eChecks. You need to chekc each one as it clears and not rely on the Paypal email.
