We are experiencing an increase in International Buyers to some Countries that we have never shipped to before.
In the past month we have shipped to Brunei ( maybe it was the rich Sultan!)
We sent a package to Kazakhstan and one to Russia. All paid very quickly and are happy and left feedback!
We have also had a couple of sales to France although we have shipped there before but not for a while.
Is anyone else finding this too?
We have always shipped anywhere at all in the World and have only ever had one problem and that was a very nasty man from Hawaii who seemed to have misplaced his Aloha spirit.
Overall sales are down but it is the US Buyers who are not buying although we are still getting some sales within Canada but that has never been a large percentage of our sales.

I've been getting bids from Taiwan and Italy and couple of Eastern European countries lately, which I've not had for awhile. All these countries are blocked from bidding, but the bidders emailed and requested they be allowed to bid and had good feedback going back aways.
What's been missing are my UK buyers, I guess now they are feeling the pinch over there as well, and the pound has really dropped against the dollar.

We've seen no real increase in international sales probably since around 100% of our sales are international. Have noticed a dearth of US & Canadian customers but that's easily explained by the economy and weak currencies. Most of our items are priced in £ (GBP) and € (EUR), and European sales haven't slowed down noticeably in the least few months.

We have always had a lot of International sales but never to some of the Countries that we have mailed to lately.

I've seen an increase in Int'l buyers. I think my experience is more obvious though... I found things like a bunch of basketball jerseys for Chinese players for one of my accounts and I've sold some Fire King mugs to some buyers from Japan. Japan is really hot for Fire King right now, and my mugs had frogs on them which is a sign of good luck in Japan. $140 for one and $82 for the other that had a crack in it.

I should also add you may find some fraudulent bidders too, so be careful to CYA with proper shipping documentation.
