I thought vendio was going to uncheck MO and Checks on our old items on ebay , so we wouldn't have to do it manually for each item. I notice that my earlier items still have those options. Has anybody else noticed this?

You have to edit your own eBay items. I don't think Vendio ever said that this would be done for you.

I use SM Pro and I thought they said they would do it. They couldn't change any text in saying you would accept paper in the description only, you would have to do that.
This is from announcements:
As a convenience, Vendio will assist this transition in two ways:

1) Vendio will restrict paper based payments from appearing on eBay, even if you have not changed your payment preferences. While we generally do not override your preferences, our failure to do so in this instance would lead to failed listings and a business disruption that would require time on your part to correct.

2) Vendio will attempt to revise any active listings that display your payment preferences in the description to remove references to paper based payments. Given the difficulty in identifying any text you may have added to description text, these revisions will only remove references Vendio has placed in the Payment section of descriptions automatically. Given the number of listings to revise, we are hopeful that eBay has some patience during this transition and doesn't cancel active listings, particularly those that have bids or sales or that are within the last 12 hours and therefore prevent revisions.

We hope these changes eliminate the need for you to revise listings manually or cancel and relist items. If you notice your listings have been revised, our automated revision is a likely reason. You should, however, review your listings for any paper based payment references you may have included.

Wow! I missed that. I revised all of mine in Turbo lister - maybe you should ask on the Vendio Services Community Board (they monitor that one more closely).
