"Gold redemption with a name you can trust."

Print out their label, drop in your old dusty gold jewelry, pop it in the mail and wait for an offer.

They'll accept any karat, gold or platinum.

CASH4GOLD, the Super Bowl commercial folks, have gotten a bad reputation for seriously underpaying consignors. You've got to read this:

Hey, maybe they'll pay ME to delete this article!

How many of us have platinum jewelry?
Many do not even have 18k gold!

Anyone who packs up their gold, puts it into an envelope and then mails it off to someone they don't know is an idiot, IMHO. Sorry if I've offended anyone, but I know of no one who would even consider this as an option. There are plenty of pawn shops around if you need to dump your gold that badly.

Many jewelry stores will buy gold as well. I believe you would do better there than at a pawn shop.

Overstock says it will buy 10k gold.

There's not enough gold in goldplated jewelry to make it worth anything. Some buyers (not many) will buy vermeil, which is gold over sterling silver.

Local coin shops often buy gold scrap.

Yeah, but you'll be lucky if they pay 20% of the value. Your better would be a scrap gold dealer where you could expect an honest 60%+.

Around here we do it the Old Testament way.

We take all of our gold scrap and fashion it into replicas of small calves and then worship them.

Works like a charm.
