Hi,

How can I get an auction to show up when someone's searching ANY category and clicks on "items listed as lots".

I don't mean 'Wholesale and Bulk Lots'. I want to be seen when someone's on the main auction page and clicks on: Preferences -- Items listed as lots.

There's 7,774 auctions that come up in the Collectibles category alone, and every one shows a 'Quantity of one' and 'Cost per item (not sold individually)'.

Example: http://cgi.ebay.com/40-DISNEY-Trading-PINS-Pin-Set-Lot-CAST-LANYARD-LE_W0QQitemZ230339121857QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item230339121857&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

End time: 33 mins 15 secs (Apr-30-09 19:03:34 PDT)
Shipping: FREE shipping
US Postal Service Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope®
Service to United States
(more services)
Ships to: Worldwide
Item location: Leesburg, Florida, United States
Quantity: 1 lot available (40 items each)
Cost per item: US $1.70 each (Not sold individually)
History: 2 bids

And is there a way to do this using Vendio's SMP?

Any help is appreciated!

Lynn

I apologize, my question appears ambiguous in the first post.

How do I list an item so this will show up on the auction page?

Quantity: 1 lot available (x items each)
Cost per item: $_ each (Not sold individually)

Thanks again,

Lynn

Pixia - I went to an estate sale this morning (actually I think it was an antique store going out of business). They had postcards for up to $25 each. They were figural and stood up. Seems like a lot but they were in plastic bags and looked in good condition. neva

From the sell form directly on ebay: Use the "form with more choices" rather than the "simple form". Then in the section that you select fixed price or auction (where the quantity and price are), choose add or remove options at the top of that section's heading. From the popup that opens, you can click the checkbox for the lots option that gives you the extra field to fill in.

Thanks txbg,

My sell-thru was always pretty good, but whatever ebay did in April made me fall off the map. It's like my auctions didn't even exist >,'/ That's when I discovered auctions I listed with 'lot' in the title weren't showing up when someone clicks on 'items listed as lots'.

So I stopped selling for three weeks, and now ebay's lowered my search placement from raised to standard, so I'm back to step one... trying to make my auctions as visible as possible.

Anyway, I was hoping the SMP had a way of entering a quantity and price per item (not sold separately). I prefer to use Vendio for everything, from the auction's start to finish. Seems like whatever's in MyEbay vanishes in thin air at ebay's discression... not when I want to delete it!

Anyway, if anyone on the Vendio staff is listening, please develop an advanced listing form so our lots can be seen when someone clicks on 'Preferences' - 'Buying Format' - 'items listed as lots' in any category.

Many thanks,
Lynn
