Is there a place to set this up in my preferences so I don't have to remember to click it in every listing? I'm sure there must be but I can't seem to locate it.

Hello,

As the item condition field is related to the category that is being used, the only way to do this would be by creating a profile for each category that you use. It would probably not be worth doing if the only purpose is the save the item condition. However, if you want to do this you may by going to "Sales Manager" --> "Inventory" --> click "New" to create a new inventory item --> click the box at the top right of the page for "Profile Item" --> fill in all of the information that you want to pre-fill when you create an item, and save the changes.

Then, when you are in the process of creating a new item (from the category selection page), select the profile from the "Apply Profile" drop-down box at the top of the page.

Regards,
Nathan

Isn't this something that ebay will require in the near future?
I sell nothing new so I would love the option of having every listed as "used" without having to use a profile. Is this something that Vendio plans to add?

Hello,

I don't know if eBay will be requiring this or not, but at this point the item condition field is something that eBay includes for some (but not all) categories. Vendio mirrors this, so any category that has an item condition field when listing through eBay will have an item condition field when listing through Vendio. It is not possible for Vendio to support adding the item condition to eBay listings where eBay does not support this.

Regards,
Nathan

OK that make sense.
I don't really see why they even have it in categories like vintage jewelry.
