Hi. I'm thinking of using Vendio (finally) for my eBay auctions/store. I want to have my photos at a decent size so the prospective buyer doesn't have to click to enlarge in another window.
Neglus -- I noticed the pix on your wonderful site are a great size w/o enlarging. How did you do this? Upload, then paste html? Or?

Thanks Rutabaga. I scan my images so the final size is around 750 pixels wide so horizontal scrolling by the viewer is not necessary. I list through Vendio (no HTML is needed) and I don't use the "click to enlarge option" in my Vendio global preferences. I also don't choose to resize when I upload to Vendio. If an image is the wrong size I resize using my photo editor (IRFAN). Sometimes I scan at a higher resolution to show details and then crop and resize and upload several images to Vendio for the same listing.

Thank you, thank you, thank you....that's the answer!! I spent all day setting things up, but came to a screeching halt when it looked like I'd have to have photos open in another window.
That was one thing I liked about Auctiva. It was simple to upload a whole batch of photos and simply point, click and plop right into the listing.

rutabaga - if you have that option - try Vendio's Sale Manager Pro. It's great for uploading photos fast and easily. You can work off line with it as well.

Rutabaga - are you a newcomer to Vendio using the new platform? If so I am not familiar with the new platform so can't give pointers, but I am sure there is an easy way to attach images. I would think they would use the same bulk uploader. I am sure one of the moderators on the "Vendio Services" board can help you with this.
If not and you use the "old" Vendio to list, attaching images IS simple. I upload images en masse using a windows uploader. When I create a listing, I search for the images by typing a couple of letters in the name I have given the images when saving to my computer, highlight them (CTL lets me attach several at a time) and click "attach".
