To give an outside-of-ebay viewpoint... my sales are already higher for the month of August than they were last year. However... I suspect that the month of August can be a slower sales period for many sellers due to their customers being busy with back-to-school / back-to-college. Unless you sell products that relate to those areas... August (especially the end of the month) can be a little slow...
Still... can't complain too much! My website is still bringing in good sales for the month! And I expect it's all uphill from now through January!

that seems to be the case. my retail store has been slower too. it is normal, so i guess i am not going to list new items this week. it seems as it gets closer to labor day it gets worse. plus i think many people didn't take the early vacations this summer b/c of the economy, so now it seems that everyone is going on vacation at the end of the summer.
