Any fashion history buffs out there? I can date this agate collector to the 1907-1920's era by the postcard back. Can anyone help me narrow it down? TIA.

I would guess 1907 to the teens mostly due to the shoes. I think button tops were out by the 20's.
The hair also has the look of a Gibson Girl.

Thanks, eBabe. I had a lot of trouble finding photos of ladies of this era in trousers. I appreciate the tip about the shoes.

Ladies began to wear breeches or trousers for horseback & bicycling during the "Rational Dress era" in the late 1880s. It was 'in vogue" to wear them in the 1910s. Those boots look like 'spats'... I know this doesn't really help narrow down your date but if you delve deeper into this site, you may find some info... http://www.fashion-era.com/early_swimwear.htm or http://www.fashion-era.com/rational_dress.htm and heres a page of ladies shoe / boot styles w/ some dates http://www.ushist.com/victorian_ladies_boots_shoes.htm and those boots look very much like the 1917 boots on this page... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1910s_in_fashion
