This is nothing new. Paypal quit sending notifications a few months ago. Frustrating, and another reason why I believe eBay/Paypal are in kahootz to bring DSRs down to prevent sellers from getting their discounts.

I am having issues with bidders getting messages too. I have sent several messages to bidders and get no replies. Some send me questions, I respond, and then they send me more messages wondering why I haven't replied to their questions... all through ebay's messaging system.

I'm telling you... evil forces are at hand here.

That would be up to you. If you want to vent and try and pursuade them to change their policy, I would say do it.

I already did. Maybe if enough sellers complain about how asinine it is not to notify sellers that an e-check payment cleared, then Paypal will get the idea and change it.

In the meantime, we have to monitor our Paypal accounts every day until it clears. Frustrating.

It crazy that they don't send an email. I plan to call on Monday

I think everyone should call Paypal. Clog their phone system about this. It is stupid that they don't send emails out for this.

Really, what is the purpose of sending out the first notification that the buyer sent an e-check if we can't ship it yet... but then doesn't send us an email when we can ship it.

If Paypal wants to cut down on emails, they need to send us payment notifications when the payment has cleared, not that we have a pending payment. Paypal can notify the buyer that it takes up to 5 days to clear after they chose to use an e-check. Seems backwards to me.

I sometimes ship when the first notice comes in IF the buyer has great feedback. Otherwise it is a pain to keep checking to see if it cleared.

I have 2 pending e-checks, but I did received a e-check cleared notice this morning for one of them, the other one was send a day later.
I usually check in my ebay for items to ship because if you don't get the notice it will change in my ebay
