can anybody find this? I swear I can't.

Or, you can set your eBay preferences to use [email protected] as an additional authorized email address for sending messages to other members. To do this:
1. Click the "My eBay" button located at the top of most eBay pages. You may be asked to sign in.
2. Click the "Communication Preferences" link on the left side of the page.
(Note: If you are using the beta version of My eBay, place your mouse over the "Account" tab and click "Communication Preferences" in the drop-down menu.)
3. In the section titled "Delivery Options", click the "Show" link next to "Member-to-Member email address".
4. Choose the same email address to both send and receive member-to-member messages, or use different addresses for each action.
5. Enter the email address(es) you want to use to send and receive member-to-member messages.
6. Click the "Save" button.

I spent a couple of hours yesterday trying to find that with no success. I often send Paypal invoices to my Canadian buyers directly through Paypal, and for some reason, the email address they came from yesterday is not the same as mine, and I got that message. Do you think it is spam?

no it's not spam. I'm buying something from a UK seller and they tried to send me a request from PP and ebay intercepted it.

Yes, that is what mine said. I send a lot of emails directly from Paypal because I sell on the US and Canadian sites, and they don't combine invoices.

Does this just apply to PayPal invoices for items listed at eBay?

Yes glassgrl, but I just got off the phone with eBay, (after being on hold for 48 mins), and I found that the email is not in "my messages", can you see if yours is? They didn't seem to have any idea about it. They told me to send it to [email protected], which I did.

The first invoice I sent was to Australia, and the buyer said she paid it 3 days ago, but it is not in my Paypal account, and the invoice is still pending as not paid. I told her to cancel the payment, which she has done. Now I am not sure what to do.

If I hear from eBay, I will let you know.

What exactly does that mean, that it is now spam?

Why was the message not in My Messages? That is the first thing they asked when I finally got through to eBay.

no it looks like it is from ebay. even the link goes to ebay.

I have no idea why it's not in messages.

they probably don't either.
