I've noticed recently that, when I complete a search for something, a list of items with "sponsored results" appears where normally there is the final bid price. In most instancexs, the items shown have absolutely NO connection/resemblance to the item I've searched. I was just curious as to what these are and how they've magically appeared.

Do you mean Sponsored Links? My non-eBay store usually appears in those results.

Think that must be what it is. I was just curious as it appears that what is being advertised in the stores bears little or no connection to the item I've searched for.

I've been wondering about that myself. Thanks for asking!
