I forgot to add the photos to the listing and it has been sent to eBay. How I fixed the listing and put photos in it. But, now howdo I get them onto ebay as the listing still shows no photos?

Hi, I don't know anything about Mac's, but if it's a Vendio setting issue, try going back to the community page - click on "Vendio Services" and list your question in the appropriate forum (probably the one that includes image hosting in the title) the service reps answer questions more quickly over there. They just happen to come over here on occasion. Good luck.

You need to revise your eBay listings using HTML to put the images in the listings.

if you use a mac, you should check out GarageSale for eBay. I switched to mac late last year and have been using GarageSale to launch all of my listings to eBay. They have much better templates, better features such as cost calculators, and verification your listings will launch correctly beforehand, and it only costs $35 one time. No other fees.
I use Vendio for the Gallery, and launch my listings with GSale.
The only benefits I found with Vendio was the inventory feature that lets you launch to different sites and manage your inventory better and their stores (which are now free). If you sell mostly one offs, or manage most of your things through ebay, you won't miss inventory. The only other thing that Vendio is better than with GarageSale is scheduling listings.
GarageSale is offline vs. Vendio online. Vendio will launch your scheduled listings even with your computer off. Since GS is offline, it requires your computer to be on to launch listings. Not a biggie if you launch items after you've created them, and you can schedule listings with GSale, but it is a bit different. The beauty of a mac is that you can schedule it to power on thru iCal and launch the GSale software. You can also schedule your mac to shut down after it launched the listings.
GSale was the best move I made so far this year. Check out this listing using GarageSale: 190397538649
You will see the wood template I use, as well as how Vendio's gallery integrates into my listings automatically. I also have an eBay store set up to manage categories and cross promote my other items within each listing.

If you post your auctions directly to Ebay and not use Vendio, all you have to do is REVISE your auction and add the pics. I do not know why you can't do that. It does not matter what kind of computer you use. I have a Mac and it is pretty simple to add, edit or delete pics even after the auction is running. If listing through Vendio makes this more difficult I have no idea why anyone would use this service let alone pay for it.

yes, you can go directly to the auction, click edit auction, and then go add the photos directly in eBay.
merrie- there used to be greater benefits to using vendio that I felt were reasonable to pay for... but most of those benefits are now obsolete because ebay now offers things such as 12 photo hosting, post sale invoicing, and shipping management. there are many features on vendio, but i didn't have a use for them. How can I justify paying Vendio and Ebay for virtually the same features, especially when eBay fees continue to go up.
You can always just use eBay to list auctions/FP listings. It works and the majority of sellers do just that, but I find it cumbersome and ordinary.
GarageSale lets me preset most of my listing settings with templates, and I have a much better selection of unique backgrounds, etc that enhance my listings to look more professional. did I need to pay $35 for this software? no, but I do believe the touch of professionalism it adds to my listings brings me higher bids which probably paid for itself after just one or two sales. GarageSale cuts my time down by at least half vs. listing on eBay and looks so much better.

shag..., I have no problem spending money for software, it is a one shot deal and then you can use it to enhance, etc. I do not understand the need to pay for things month after month that are free from Ebay. You are right that is used to be worth using a 3rd party venue when you could not list multiple pics, schedule, etc. directly with Ebay without paying through the nose.
Too many people have their hands in my pocket as it is. I used Vendio up until the time they started taking a %. Prior to that the fees were OK for the service, but that was the final straw.

I guess I should think about getting rid of Vendio as well but I really hate listing direct with ebay. So slow and too much room for errors.
If you aren't real careful - you can charge shipping for a piece of jewelry when it's really a chair that you are selling. Ebay always picks up your last shipping information and fills that part out for you. Great if you only sell one type of item.

that is one thing i like about GarageSale and Vendio... you can set up templates that include all info for specific groups of listings.

In Vendio:
Select the Image Hosting tab on the left.
Check mark your pictures.
Click attach at bottom of page.
Click attach again in pop-up box.
Go to bottom of screen and select existing auction and input eBay item number.

If you add pix through Vendio, does that add a pic for gallery or Gallery Plus (free in the category I list in)?

Hello pixiamom, If you add pix through Vendio, does that add a pic for gallery or Gallery Plus?
When you first list the item - as long as you have an image attached to the listing then yes, it is mapped automatically to the eBay gallery field.
If however your adding an image after the fact, the only way to replace your existing gallery image for that listing is to revise the listing so you can provide eBay with the URL of the image you want to use as the gallery image (as for gallery photo's eBay makes a copy of the image to host on their own servers, so you can't change the gallery photo once the listing has been running by simply swapping out the photo that was at that original hosting location.)
