I just got an email. FREE to list Auction-style, any start price, September 28-January 7. 100 auctions a month.

So I guess the 3-day experiment earlier this month worked, sort of. Only it was 10 cents then.
I don't see this sale announced. Maybe you're one of the select few?

I just received the e-mail too.
It is only if you don't have a Store and differs from the last one in that it is a MAX of 100 listings at any start price as long as there is no reserve.
The previous couple have been 100 up to 99 cents and then an additional 100.

I could very well have more than 100 auctions a month between now and January. Would the eBay bookkeeping just give me the free listings UP TO 100 and charge me for the rest (I'm hoping)?

I think so.
You can keep track of how many you have listed on your 'My EBay' page. They will be running a counter there.

Big companies like to bring in outside consulting firms to advice them what to do,or sometimes just to echo what the CEO wants to do.
May be they should call in some medium and ask Sam what to do now?or may be Nieman Marcus is he still alive?or Sears or Roebuck
or Carnegie or JP Morgan or JD Rockefeller or any founding father?
Even Chairman Mao ,some body please help Ebay!
It reminds me of a third rate horror movie where some one was growing a piece of protein mass in a dish and every morning he checks,it is alive and changing and getting bigger and slimier but not any better and no one knows what to do.

I didn't get an email yet and I have one ID without a store. I sometimes don't get the notices like I should.

With all of the recent sales this is the first time I have received an e-mail.
I am registered with EBay.ca and list on EBay.com. I usually find out about the sales through AuctioBytes or here!

My friend who has a store will have a fit as soon as he finds out. He is tired of being left out of the specials. He does have a small account that does not have a store so he can list there.

I dont know if all these free auction listings affect store sales?
My store sales have been steady, since 3/14/2010,I have sold 440 items.
I am not a powerseller, not TRS rated and I have 700 plus items in my store.
Several times I dropped items to auctions, results were subpar.like 20% sell thru rate.
Me thinks Ebay tweaks its search engine ,it is more than just TRS or Power seller or high feedback,me thinks it tracks some items which tend to sell well and give Ebay higher FVF.

Of course they track which items sell the best along with a few million other bits of info that might effect there biz.
Obviously auction listings are down so eBay is giving them a boost. If you list 10 items a month or 10000 a 100 free listings is cash in your pocket.

It is only cash in our pocket if it sells.
When the bidder sees a 99 cents item,he adds the shipping cost and then ask if the item is worth (99 cents plus shipping )?
I have an item which I keep relisting at 99 cents with 3.95 shipping and no one wants it.
As long as I dont have to pay listing fee,I will keep relisting, thats the way they do things at Epier and Bidville.

O.K. now there is a 3 day 10 cent listing special. Does that mean what was once free is now 10 cents for those 3 days. Confusing. Going to list anyway, need to sell.

The 10 cent listing is for everyone so if you have a store or not you can use it.

Duh, (slaps self upside the head) of course it would apply after the 100! I haven't used those yet, and I do understand it applies to sellers with a store this time. Thanks for the info.
