While watching the OSU/Arizona game last night, conversation came up about athletes and "special shoes". I seem to remember some famous football player who had specially made kangeroo shoes. I THOUGHT it was Joe Namath but couldn't find any info. Does anyone out there know what I'm talking about and who that athelete might be...if he exists?

You're right, though Namath wasn't the first to wear them. According to this article http://www.nydailynews.com/archives/sports/1996/01/14/1996-01-14_now_playing____hammer_time_f.html, Fred Williamson was.

PS I don't know diddly about this but Google is my BFF.
