I just signed up-domestic insurance for USPS package is 79 cents/$100,overseas package is $1/$100.
Right now I am paying $1/$100 for domestic and $1.50/$100 for overseas.
Will let you know how it works out.

status report-
I tried to find it on ebay so I can buy some insurance but I cant find it ,I find the link to tell me what it is and how to sign up,but I have no clue how to use it.
Then I went to Paypal and looked under my profile/preapproved payments and find its API decomissioned for my protection and if I want it reactivated I must enter a pin number.
I dont know what is my pin number and even if I know,I cant find any where I can enter my pin number.
I gave up,end of the story !

Like 3.95 a month and up

i agree you are limited to what they cover but i will just use a different method for items not covered, its way cheaper than usps ins.

I've used it many times, but fortunately have never had to file a claim.

I have been using U-PIC,and I have filed a few claims,no problem.
But their intl insurance premium is going up,like 1.50 per 100 dollars.

I may like to try this too. Has anyone filed a claim.
I use U-Pic as well for international 1st class.
