This new Paypal shipping system aka eBay shipping is terrible.
It is much slower to get a label up to print. I am having issues printing International labels. I have to save the pdf and then print using my preview application on my Mac.
Finally, when it does print a US shipping label it is printing two pages... the 2nd page is just blank except dotted lines down the middle.
It is horrible!
I don't use it much, except for low dollar International or flat rate priority mail since my primary shipping is through Fed Ex.
Any suggestions?

It is still slower to generate a label.
And it is now quite cumbersome to account for monthly paypal shipping charges. The eBay shipping labels do not show up when sorting shipping payments. . .only the labels printed for other venues, such as a Vendio store sale, that still get printed directly thru PayPal without being redirected to eBay. So now we need to run and add in an additional report to generate the info. Not earth shattering, but somewhat annoying.
Also the actual shipping charge no longer shows up on the PP transaction detail.
Only thing I like about going thru eBay is that if you print a label in the evening, it automatically defaults your shipping date to the next day.
Overall, I am not a fan of the change either.

The letters are too small,no matter which way you choose to print the label.

I printed a Priority Mail shipping label yesterday directly through Paypal.
Today I sign onto my account to access shipping information. I notice that the item I shipped yesterday still doesn't show that I shipped it, which means the buyer wasn't notified of the shipping tracking number. My account shows I was charged for the shipping label by eBay shipping.
This is not the first time I have noticed this type of error on Paypal. In fact, I entered two Fed Ex tracking numbers today for some payments I received. I refreshed the screen and saw that it updated it. Then I refreshed it again and those same transactions didn't show the tracking numbers.
What really irks me are these new eBay policies regarding shipping within 1 day. If their system isn't working properly, how can they expect sellers to meet their standards? I suppose it is just another eBay scam to push sellers to work more while offering them less.

Re shipping within 1 day or whatever, what if the buyer asks you to wait before shipping due to vacation or other reason? Does that count against us?

I am sure it does. But why should eBay care if you are providing better customer service?
Remember, eBay requires us to "earn" our discount. Your situation would fall in the 10% margin of transactions they allow. You will have to make sure to ship 9 more items in 1 day to keep "earn" your discount.
Sorry... sarcasm.

If you accept credit card payment, you are expected to ship immediately, within 24 hours !
It goes back to the days when a customer buys an itm from a brick and mortar store ,he uses his credit card and leave with the merchandise.
The shopowner gets the payment deposited in his bank account within 48 hours.
Since we accept Paypal ,we are accepting credit card payments,we are obliged to ship within 24 hours.
This is how Ebay decides that we upload shipping information within 24 hours, how else would Ebay know we have shipped?
I can see the trend now,we are asked to behave more and more like the full time retailer as if we have a legit business.

Ebay CS told me that 1 day shipping meant that if they paid on Tuesday you had until midnight ebay time on Wednesday to pay and print the label or upload tracking.
I've done that a few times but don't know where to go to check and see if I'm still 100% on shipping time or not.
