Me again... So much as changed since I've been able to get back to selling again...hard to digest it all. I have a question. While on the My Ebay page, over in the far right side of the Sold items section, the Actions column, the drop down thingy called "more actions" ...lets you choose to "View PayPal transaction".
For some reason, when I choose that on any of the (few I might add) sales it takes me to the PayPal page showing the whole trans., but with a Yellow traffic warning sign icon that says.. The Transaction ID in Your Link Is Invalid.

Not that I'm aware of. Embarrassed to say I don't quite know what that means either. do you mean for the purpose of paying my ebay fees with my paypal, no would be the answer.

I was curious, so I went to a transaction and did the pull downs like you mentioned. Mine only said that I have to log in to view the transaction.

Mine says that too, but just above that is a long narrow box with the yellow caution sign icon like a road sign saying that "The transaction ID in your link is invalid". I can then sign in and see the transaction though and my paypal account looks in order, but I just can't figure out what the caution thing is about.
I've tried to find any info on the paypal site and see nothing that applies to this.

It is probably the linking accounts issue.
I don't use the "see paypal trans" option very often, so
I also clicked on it to see what happened and got the error message. But the last time that i used the option was before the linking your accounts hooha and there never used to be any error messages.

to view that paypal transaction from your ebay item page, you have to link the two account together so Ebay can access your paypal account.
I dont remember how to do it,it has been so long, but you can go to my Ebay and personal information and see if it is there.
