Some of the USPS distribution centers in this area were flooded and unable to process mail, or process very slowly, for weeks after Sandy.

Yes indeed - I had a $200 package to Canada lost for 3 weeks. It finally made it - thank goodness.
My judgement told me to hold it and ship later but my desire to keep my TRS told me to
go ahead and mail it. Next time my judgement will win.

glad it made it after 3 weeks.
Recently we have a 100 cars crash 80 miles outside Houston and I saw 3 Fed Exp trucks among the wreck!

I wondered about those Fed Ex trucks, I hope the drivers were O.K. and that the packages got sent on their way quickly.

You are very right, that is why I hope no one was hurt but I know many were and I hope they heal quickly.

I never meant the people were not the first priority, sorry if it read that way.
