Looks like he/she is trying to have a Merry Christmas on the buyer's money.

According to his feedback, he's already paid for Christmas, New Years and Valentines day.

Our studio is located amongst several other artisans. One of them makes platforms for a well known artist in NYC who sells many pieces of his art for $100K +.

The artisan was sharing with me his personal experiences on eBay, which for him have been most frustrating.

One thing he noticed about us is how well we pack our items for shipment. His problem is that he purchases items, but never knows what to expect when it arrives. His latest purchase was a lamp where the seller packed it poorly, by including the unique lampshade with the lamp. The shade was damaged beyond repair. He can't simply go out and find another one. It is impossible. This is the experience that too many buyers experience and why "marketplaces" are still risky for buyers and why they are so often "leery" of sellers.

eBay has a significant marketshare for collectibles, but they have worked tirelessly against sellers like myself. They have pushed us into a corner to the point where many just leave. We have stellar feedback and I consider us a model of a good seller on eBay. The problem is that we are amongst too many bad sellers. eBay has focused way too much in attracting the high volume, low price seller which in itself attracts the low price buyer with high expectations (or fraud on both sides).

Nothing for sale now. I wonder if the account was highjacked - it looks like seller sold motorcycle patches before and then suddenly got in the phone biz which apparently were never delivered.

Generally that's what happens. We had our account taken over once and they cancelled all of our listings and started listing Apple products.
