I had a piece of jewelry listed that still had the tag attached.
I already had a bid and 5 watchers but I got an email from someone claiming to represent that company. It said if I didn't remove the listing the company would take legal action.
This isn't a high end designer. I took it down but now I wonder if I should have. It is what I said it was and I don't think the name really matter that much, it was the look of the piece. Plus it was only at $9.99.
If I'm selling a piece of Avon jewelry - I can used that name so what is the difference.

Sounds like scare tactics to me. Unless it is something like software, etc. you can sell the item as long as you own it & take your own pictues. I would notify Ebay to get real answers.
