I'm getting ready to print a label for a $125 item. I'm shipping in a medium flat rate box. This is what is listed below additional options: With Priority Mail® you get USPS Insurance up to $100 free.

Just looked at a reciept from PO for med flat rate. It says $50 insurance included. Maybe the amount is higher online.

OK this explains it - from the USPS site:
•$100 of insurance is included in Priority Mail Express service.
•Purchase online, at your Post Office™, or a self-service kiosk, depending on the class of mail chosen.
•Keep your postmarked mailing receipt
•$50 insurance included in Priority Mail service.** Additional coverage may be available.

I tried entering $100 USPS insurance on the eBAy label printing page to see what it showed and it comes up as "free" for Priority Mail.
Now I wonder if you had to enter it in when you print the label to get to the $100 instead of just $50. Not sure, but I am taking the extra step to do it this way.
