We were shopping garage sales a couple of weeks ago.
About 11:30, we stopped at one and I saw this dish/plate sitting on the blue bag. I picked up the plate and saw that the bag read Tiffany. So I asked "how much" and the lady said $3.00. I paid her thinking it must be fake. Well it isn't fake and it weights 456 grams. How in the world it was still there at 11:30 - I'll never know.
The bag is dirty and I was wondering if I could hand wash it or something.

I think the Q is is the original dust bag a value add?
To be on the safe side if you plan on selling the piece I would let the new owner wash or not wash the dust bag.

Wow turns out the engraving on the plate which reads TWLC Founding Partner is for the Tiger Woods Learning Center. I was reading it TLWC due to the placement of the letters and got nothing until I just googled TWLC and the exact logo popped up that is on the plate.
I could care less about the dust bag now - does anyone think this should add value?? I'm thinking maybe so???
It's Tiffany
It's Elsa Peretti
It's 456 Grams
It's linked to Tiger Woods
The plate still sells on the Tiffany website for $1100.
I can't decide what to ask for it. Any opinions?

Tiffany bag does matter, some would ask if there is a bag?
But with all the pluses.tiger wood, else peretti etc,you can get away with a dirty bag.
I would ask for 500-600,since it is not antique or out of production

It sounds like it might be a modern collector plate. You know the ones advertised in magazines newspapers TV Usually these do not have any real value beyond their inflated asking price. Worth checking with someone who knows Tiffany,

Tiffany does not sell or advertise on TV ,it sounds like special commission, they do corporate gifts!
But being a used one with dirty bag and probably scratches and dings, some one could remove the engravings and use it for display,Tiffany silver is well made and desiigned,it does not get tarnish as easily as other makers.
I sold a few Tiffany silver this Xmas on Ebay, make sure you mention Elsa!

The plate is not scratched or dinged. Looks as if it was maybe cleaned once and then put away.
I would think someone may want to leave the engraving knowing the connection to Tiger Woods.
For all I know Tiger may have presented this plate himself.

I dont mean the Tiger woods engraving,I am referring to any personal engravings from previous owner.
May be some Tiger Wood fans would buy it.
