I especially love to watch them at night when I'm ready to go to sleep. They don't give me bad dreams, and they're like "comfort t.v.". Just fun, happy entertainment.

You are right some of the old shows are sort of like comfort food for the soul...just fun, nothing scary.

Hi Zil! We get Golden Girls and Designing Women on The Lifetime Network at 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We also get GG on CBS at 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., followed by DW (if you're up that late). They are also on Lifetime every morning, weekends included.
We get M*A*S*H on FX many times during the week and weekend. It's like the M*A*S*H channel!
By the way, I read in the newspaper that Lorenzo Music, the voice of Garfield, and Carlton the Doorman on Rhoda, passed away.
And speaking of re-runs, Jim Nabors (Gomer Pyle) is being given the rank of honorary Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps.
